Inspired by the important issue of reproductive rights and bodily autonomy, I decided to create a five-look collection, with each piece representing a different aspect of this ongoing struggle. The collection uses various design techniques to symbolize the themes of control, empowerment, restriction, and freedom. Through fabric manipulation, structured silhouettes, and symbolic details such as cutouts and 3D elements, each look visually narrates a part of the journey— from the restrictions placed on women’s bodies to the empowerment that comes with choice. The collection speaks to the complexity and urgency of these issues, aiming to spark dialogue and reflect the resilience of those fighting for autonomy and equality.
